Surrealism came on the scene in the early 1990s, ushering in a new era of art that was more fantastical and dream-like than ever before. Children will look at the work of Naoto Hattori, whose stream-of-consciousness painting style depicts animals, nature, and humans combined into one form. They’ll find inspiration in Hattori’s works, as well as their own imagination, to draw, sketch, or paint never-before-seen creatures.
