Just as we carry stories with us throughout our lives, objects hold stories based on where they were made, who possessed them, and how they were used. Artists will examine works by found object sculptors Sofie Ramos and Aaron Fowler along with Dutch Golden Age painter Rachel Ruysch, then create their own assemblages of everyday objects on miniature pedestals. At the conclusion of the session, we’ll share what we chose to include in our sculptures and why.
