Glacier

Art provides an accessible – and inherently visual – understanding of climate change. Photographers such as James Balog create time-lapse images that assist scientists in detailing glacier retreat due to climate change, while artists Sara Black and Amber Ginsburg host drawing workshops using pencils created from diseased trees. Children will work together to create their own recycled paper as they discuss solutions for a more sustainable future.
