Bessou chef Elena Yamamoto and founder Maiko Kyogoku invite you to experience a little bit of omotenashi –Japanese hospitality– in NYC through their new dinner series, The Counter. Each dinner will focus on a Japanese home cooking staple, along with smaller accompanying dishes. We hope you will join us for this little escape from NYC, right at our counter.
The theme for 11/15 will be “Japanese Thanksgiving.” We’ll be exploring a Thanksgiving meal, Japanese American style! Some dishes will include Holiday Fluke Carpaccio, Black Miso Cod, Kabocha au Gratin, Crispy Riced Potatoes, and Turkey Paitan Ramen. And of course, pie!
